Sony has finally unveiled the Xperia Z1 Compact along with the T-Mobile Exclusive Xperia Z1S at the CES 2014 press conference yesterday.
The Xperia Z1 Compact is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and features a 20MP rear facing camera. And like most Xperia devices, it is water resistant. The Xperia Z1 Compact comes in at 4.3-inches, down from 5-inches. The battery also dropped from 3,000mAh to 2,300mAh. There’s no word on price for this device and Sony expects to make it available in mid-February.
Tthe Xperia Z1S on the other hand will be exclusive to T-Mobile in the United States and set to be released in January 22. It is powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor, features a 5-inch 1080p display, a 20.7MP camera, and a 3000mAh battery. The Z1S is also waterproof and can be dipped four and a half feet underwater for about 30 minutes.
