A few months ago, a new version of the Galaxy S4 Active with Snapdragon 800, appeared in GFXbenc, but since then we haven’t heard anything more.
Now we have leaked documents that show the diagram and the specifications of the new upcoming Galaxy S4 Active. In the specifications we can see that the CPU of this new model will be the MSM8974 also known as Snapdragon 800.
The new Galaxy S4 Active seems to be exactly the same as the current S4 Active model, except its CPU (Snapdragon 800) and the LTE-Advanced connectivity that the newest chipset enables.
So the new Galaxy S4 Active will have the same 5″ 1080p LCD display, hardware buttons, IP67 certification (water and dust proof) and 2,600mAh battery.
The new Galaxy S4 Active with the LTE-Advanced capabilities, is expected to be unveiled through South Korea’s provider SKTelecom. We don’t know yet if it’s going to be released on other markets too.
As we can see, Samsung extends its Galaxy Active Series with new models. Also, there are rumors (you can read here) that Samsung is working on a Note 3 and S5 Active model. So it’s obvious that Samsung places great importance to Galaxy Active family products and these are very good news for all those people having a more “active” life and they want a high-end Smartphone that can cope with difficult conditions.
