Even if you’re not a Samsung user or fan, it’s impossible to not notice their habit of producing a number of variations for a single device. They seem to try to hit every conceivable screen size and price point to ensure that they have something available for every different buyer.
It pretty much started with the Galaxy S and the Galaxy SL – a toned down Galaxy S. And from there on the trend continued and now we see about 3-4 variants of one device like the Galaxy S4 with the S4 Mini, S4 Zoom, and the Galaxy S4 Active.
And of course, the company’s latest flagship smartphone/phablet is no exception as according to a new rumor from SamMobile, a Galaxy Note 3 Lite (SM-N7505) will be announced at MWC 2014 (Mobile World Congress) in late February with availability a few weeks later. Rumors also says that the upcoming device will be available in black and white, initially and that Samsung appears to be testing the device in two screen sizes, 5.49 and 5.7 inches, indicating that the Lite version could sport a slightly smaller screen.
No word yet on the country availability and price but we’ll keep you updated as always.
