Samsung To Announce The Galaxy Tab 4 And Galaxy Gear 2 At MWC


According to a new report coming from ZDNet, Samsung is set to unveil it’s new Galaxy Tab 4 series and the Galaxy Gear 2 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The new Galaxy Tab 4 series is rumored to have the usual, 3G, LTE, and WiFi only variants. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 will feature an 8-inch LCD display with 1280 × 800 resolution, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB or 1.5GB (LTE variant) of RAM, a 3MP/1.3MP camera combo, 16GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card, and a 6,800mAh battery.

The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 will come in Wi-Fi and 3G variants and will sport pretty much the same specs as the Tab 48.0 except for the smaller 8GB of internal storage and 4,450mAh battery.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is said to feature the same specs but with a better camera at 8MP at the rear and 3MP at the front. The battery is also expected to be bigger. The Galaxy Tab 4 series will run on Android KitKat out of the box.

The Galaxy Gear 2 on the other hand is rumored to carry a more affordable price tag than it’s predecessor and is promised to have better design and even a flexible OLED display.
