We have reported a few days ago that ZTE is set to launch it’s very first smartwatch next year that will have the same specs as the current top-tier smartwatches but at a low-cost price. We also told you about the smartwatch’s limited support as it can only be paired with ZTE devices but the Chinese company stated their intentions about adding support to non-ZTE devices.
And now a tipster coming from India said that the smartwatch will have a micro-sim card slot that will allow the wearable device to make phone calls. The tipster also said that the camera can be used for video calling, making the comparison to Dick Tracy’s two-way wrist radio more legitimate. And if this is true, it is a lot of features that you can have at an affordable price making ZTE’s upcoming smartwatch worth the wait especially for first time smartwatch buyers.
