The closer we get to a possible February Galaxy S5 announcement, it’s only natural that we get more and more leaks and information regarding Samsung’s next flagship device. And this time, according to the Korean media DDaily, Samsung has begun the mass production of 5.25-inch displays with 2560×1440 resolution. And given that it’s a display meant for flagship devices, it can only make sense if it’s for the upcoming Galaxy S5.
Assuming that the display will indeed be carried by the Galaxy S5, the size difference from the Galaxy S4 won’t be noticeable at .25 inches. Samsung might also do the same thing they pulled with the Galaxy Note 3 where they increased the display size without increasing the size of the phone.
If the display really is meant for the Galaxy S5, it’s a good thing that it won’t be noticeably bigger than the Galaxy S4 which is already big at 5.0 inches. Do you share the same opinion or you want the Galaxy S5 to sport a much bigger display than 5.25 inches? Let us know in the comments below.
