Rumor: HTC One Prime To Feature Snapdragon 805 Processor │2560 x 1440 Display

We’ve been hearing about it for quite some time now, about another HTC flagship device that is more highly spec’d than the M8. And according to a new report from Japanese site HTC Soku, the HTC One Prime indeed exists and is set to be released come September.

Since the HTC One M8 is already out, it’s pretty much a given what would the One Prime’s specs be since the M8 is pretty much maxed out in specs and software features. That only leaves us with a slightly bigger and sharper display, which according to the source, a 5.5-inch display with a 2560 x 1440, powered by a Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM. Network performance is getting upgraded as well as device performance with the MDM9x35 modem form Qualcomm which allows for download speeds up to 300 mbps over LTE. The camera is said to be upgraded as well to 18MP.

Keep in mind that this is just a rumor so take it as a grain of salt for now. The HTC One M8 is already a powerful device right now that will surely not disappoint it’s users but for all those who wants the latest hardware possible, then the HTC One Prime might just be the device for them to get come September.
