The report also said that the device will run on a forked Android OS with a Windows Phone UI on top of it. And as it is a forked version of Anrdoid, it means there will be no native support for Google services and apps similar to what we have seen with Amazon’s Fire OS. It is also said that Nokia will put in it’s own services and apps instead.
The Nokia Normandy, or Nokia X, is said to feature a 4-inch display with a 800 x 480 resolution, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 5MP camera, and a 1,500mAh battery. There will be a Dual-SIM variant of the device as well.
