Motorola Files Patents For Flexible Smartwatch Concept

We have first seen devices with flexible displays with the Samsung Galaxy Round and the LG G Flex. While some were impressed, some thought of it as ‘gimmicky.’ And now that the Smartwatch scene has been booming and is expected to get even better come next year, the thought of flexible displays will inevitably come to and will definitely a better fit for smartwatches than smartphones.

And today the inevitable has happened as Motorola has filed a patent for a smartwatch concept that not only features a flexible display, but a flexible body as well that’s made out of links.
However, a patent says nothing about Motorola’s plans to actually build one. But now that the ‘flexible smartwatch’ card has been dealt in the table, it will only be a matter of time before we see one in the future.
