ZTE just unveiled its CES 2014 line up of models, scheduled to take place next week in Las Vegas. Among them we find 5 new smartphones, a smart watch and some other gadgets.
The most notorious of all is ZTE Iconic Phablet with a 5.7 inch display (720p) and Gorilla Glass protection. Inside it packs a quad core SoC with Dolby Digital support, wireless charging compatibility and multitasking with 2 apps running simultaneously in 2 windows. ZTE will also unveil ZTE Grand SII with a 5.5 inch display (1080p) and Snapdragon 800 SoC and dual SIM support, and two mid range models ZTE Nubia 5S and 5S Mini.
These two will pack a quadcore Snapdragon chipset but 5S will feature a 5 inch display, while 5S mini will have a 4.7 inch display (both IGZO panels!). In addition the Nubia 5S model will feature a 13MPixels camera with Sony Exmor RS (f/2.0) lens and 4K video recording. Last of all we have ZTE Sonata 4G with a 4 inch display, Snapdragon 400 chipset, dual core SoC @ 1.4GHz and 1GB of RAM. It will pack a 5.0 MPixels camera and a 1780 mAh battery.
ZTE will also unveil a smart watch called ZTE BlueWatch, with Bluetooth 4.0 compatibility and the ability to show Facebook and Twitter notifications from the smartphone on its display, control phone calls and taking photos etc. We will know more about all of the above in a couple of days, so stay tuned guys!
