LG just announced their newest wearable tech device at CES 2014 – the Lifeband Touch.
The Lifeband Touch is a fitness tracker that helps users who wants to get shape to record and track their progress, like the number of steps you take, calories you’ve burned, the distance you’ve traveled, and it can monitor heart rate as well. And as wearable tech, you can pair it with your Android or iOS device through Bluetooth 4.0 so you can see your notifications and control your music through your Lifeband Touch.
Tthe Lifeband Touch has a three-axis accelerometer and altimeter, so it can monitor all kinds of movement to adjust your caloric output, even when you’re going uphill or downhill. You’ll also be able to activate the tracker without having to touch it, simply by performing a gesture to get it going.
The Lifeband Touch will carry a $179 price tag and will launch by 2Q of this year.
