After months of countless rumors and leaks, the all new HTC One is finally set to be unveiled come March 25. And to look back at all we have reported before, here’s what to expect with HTC’s flagship smartphone device for 2014.
First off, the all new HTC One will be the first HTC device to feature live on-screen navigation buttons. The device will also feature very thin bezels that makes the display bigger without increasing the device’s overall size compared to it’s predecessor, the HTC One.
Over at the specs side, the all new One is expected to feature a 2560 x 1440 resolution display, improved Ultrapixel camera with twin sensors and dual flash, an on-screen virtual buttons, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor like the Samsung Galaxy S5. The leaked image we have seen so far also shows that the all new One’s body will consist of metal and will be available in five color options – blue, dark grey, gold, red, and silver color. Over at the software side, the flagship smartphone will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the latest Sense 6.0 skin by HTC.
The all new HTC One is one of the three early contenders for the best flagship device of 2014 along with Samsung’s Galaxy S5 and Sony’s Xperia Z2. But one thing is for sure, consumers will have a hell of time deciding as to which flagship device to go with this year as all three devices have different strong points on their own. So it may all go down to one’s design, feature, and software preference.
