According to a report by DigiTimes, HTC, Huawei, and LG could face loss in market shares despite their solid efforts for this year. This is mainly because of the low sales of their respective flagship devices.
DigiTimes spoke to various “industry observers” who pointed to the relatively low sales of the HTC One, the Huawei Ascend P6, and the LG G2. The HTC One has been a hit at first, but went downhill after that. The Huawei Ascend P6, using it’s lower price tag as it’s main weapon to enter the global market, has also failed to meet expectations due to it being a Huawei brand. And finally the G2, which we explained in our previous post, with the lack of trust and popularity over it’s rival Samsung. And of course, the launch the Nexus 5.
