Asus, in the Android world, has been producing hybrid tablets/notebooks which makes them popular and distinctive from other Android OEMs. In fact, they’re the only manufacturer that has produced more tablets than smartphones – which is a good thing because I don’t see Asus getting much success on something that doesn’t have a PC or notebook structure. Better to stick with what you’re good at right?
And after focusing on Windows-based hybrid tablet/notebooks these past few months, Asus is back on the Android world as we have spotted a leak of their new device; the Transformer Book T100TC.
The leak has come from a WiFi certification which means there’s not much information about it’s specs. But for Asus fans like me, it’s good enough to know that they are back with a new device. According to the certification, the Transformer Book T100TC hybrid tablet/notebook will be running on a pretty outdated Android 4.2.2, consiering that it’s expected to be released in 2014. That’s all we have for now about this device but we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
