Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update Now Rolling Out To The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (GT-I9295)

Finally, the international Galaxy S4 Active (GT-I9295) is now getting the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update as well a month after it was rolled out to it’s AT&T variant. The update will change your software build to XXUCNE5, which will bring you all the KitKat goodies such as UI changes, and various improvements. The update will also bring Samsung specific updates such as improved battery life, full-screen album art (which playing music) and a camera shortcut on the lock screen, wireless printing support, ability to set the default messaging and launcher apps, and more.

The update is currently rolling out to the Netherlands but is expected to follow in all the other regions in the following days. And for our usual warning, make sure to have sufficient battery life before executing the update. Enjoy!
