Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update For The Asus Fonepad 7 Now Available

The Asus Fonepad 7 is now receiving it’s first major software update since it first became available back at September last year. The device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and after several months of being stuck at 4.2, will finally have a taste of Android 4.3.

Aside from the obvious OS upgrade, bugfixes, and under the hood improvements, the update also brings improved video player and image gallery, Gallery Home Front, and other UI improvements.

It may come a disappointment to some as to why they are getting Android 4.3 Jelly Bean when there’s the newer Android 4.4 KitKat, but looking at how Asus takes care of their devices, it’s only a matter of time.
