Alcatel unveiled 4 new devices in this year’s CES in Las Vegas and all of them looked quite awesome.
First it was One Touch POP C9 with a 5.5 inch display (960 x 540 pixels), a quad core MediaTek chipset @ 1.3GHz and 1GB of RAM. It also has 4GB of storage, microSD slot and runs on Android 4.2. It also packs an 8.0MPixel camera with HD video recording and a front facing camera @ 2MPIxels with a small 2500mAh Li-Ion battery. It will be available in black, red, white, pink and turquoise.
We already knew some info regarding Idol X+, that will be eqquipped with a 5 inch IPS display (1080p) and MediaTek’s MT6592 SoC @ 2GHz, with 2GB of RAM and SGX544 GPU. It also offers 16GB of storage with microSD slot and supports 24bit/192 kHz sound playback. It’s only 7.9 mm thin and it has been crafted by aluminum and plastic parts. It also offers a 13MPixels camera and a 2500 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Alcatel also unveiled its One Touch POP7 and POP8 tablets, with 7 and 8 inch TFT displays at 1024×600 and 1280×800 pixels resolutions respectively. They both have 1GB of RAM, Mali-400 GPU. The first has a dual core MediaTek CPU @ 1.3GHz and the second packs a quad core CPU at 1.3GHz. They both have 3G, WiFi, GPS and an Infra Red port along with two cameras (2.0 and 0.3MPixels). They are expected to hit the market by February-March.
